The outdoor recreation community is mourning the heartbreaking loss of Audrie Lorraine Pelosi, affectionately known as “Mrs. TheFox,” who passed away on May 30, 2026, at the age of 30 following a tragic climbing accident.

Born on February 19, 1996, in the Duluth, Minnesota area, Audrie lived a life defined by adventure, authenticity, and an unwavering love for the outdoors. Whether she was scaling rock faces, snowboarding down mountain slopes, cycling scenic trails, or exploring new horizons, she embraced every opportunity to experience life to its fullest.

Audrie’s passion for outdoor recreation shaped both her career and personal life. During her time working at Ski Hut in Duluth, she met the love of her life, Jimmy “The Fox” Robinson, at a snowboard event at Welch Village, Minnesota. Their connection was immediate and profound. Friends and family often described their relationship as a true love story. On February 22, 2023, at 2:22 p.m., the couple exchanged vows atop Mount Bohemia, surrounded by loved ones and the mountain landscape they cherished.

Following their marriage, Audrie made her home in Baraboo, Wisconsin, where she quickly became a beloved member of the community. Through her work with Ski Hut of Duluth, Viking Ski Shop of Chicago, Wildside Action Sports of Baraboo, Downtown Baraboo Inc., Bella Vita Coffee, and Apex Adventure Alliance, she built lasting friendships and touched countless lives. Her infectious personality, tireless work ethic, and genuine care for others earned her admiration wherever she went.

Known for her sharp dry wit, adventurous spirit, and ability to make everyone feel welcome, Audrie possessed a rare gift for bringing people together. Whether encouraging a fellow climber, sharing stories around a campfire, or simply making friends laugh with a perfectly timed remark, she left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Among her greatest joys were spending time with her husband, caring for her beloved three-legged dog, Chili Dog, and being a devoted aunt to her ten nieces and nephews, affectionately known as “the little beans.” Family and friends remember her as a loving wife, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend whose kindness and enthusiasm enriched countless lives.

Audrie is survived by her devoted husband, Jimmy Robinson; grandparents John Schweiger and Joseph A. Pelosi Sr.; parents Heather Schweiger and Paul (Penny) Pelosi; parents-in-law James and Dawn Robinson; siblings Lindsay (Nelson) del Valle, Shannon Pelosi, Joseph Pelosi, and Isaac Schweiger; step-siblings Kelsey Rutchasky, Elijah Brant, Hailey Brant, Shaye Brant, and Rayna Arndt; as well as numerous extended family members and a large community of snowboarders, climbers, cyclists, and outdoor enthusiasts who considered her a cherished friend.

Though her life was tragically cut short, Audrie’s legacy will continue through the countless people she inspired. Her adventurous spirit, generous heart, and love for the outdoors will live on in every mountain climbed, every trail explored, and every gathering of friends sharing stories beneath the open sky.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. at Redlin-Ertz Funeral Home, with visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m. A second celebration honoring Audrie’s life will be held in her hometown of Duluth, Minnesota, at a later date.
